What We're Researching

We're running a paid study on the tools used to evaluate and approve robot execution plans. Creating safe and efficient motion trajectories requires careful human oversight before deployment. Your insights will help establish better safety and efficiency standards for these critical approval workflows.

How It Works

During this remote session, you will review several prototype interfaces displaying simulated robot paths and operational parameters. We will ask you to evaluate these execution plans and narrate your decision-making process for approving or rejecting them. You will highlight potential collision risks, efficiency bottlenecks, or missing telemetry data in the interface. The entire process takes place on our platform, which will record your screen and voice as you work through the scenarios.

Who This Is For

We welcome robotics engineers, automation specialists, kinematics experts, and motion planning researchers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience reviewing, simulating, or deploying robotic trajectories in either industrial or applied settings. Familiarity with standard robotics middleware and safety protocols is required.

What You'll Do
  • Review simulated robot motion and execution plans
  • Narrate your thought process while approving or rejecting trajectories
  • Identify safety risks and efficiency bottlenecks in the proposed paths
  • Provide clear feedback on the layout and data hierarchy of the approval interface
Who Should Apply
  • Professional experience in robotics engineering or advanced automation
  • Hands-on background with evaluating robotic motion plans or trajectories
  • Comfortable thinking aloud while navigating a technical software interface
  • Fluent English required for the moderated session
Contract & Payment Terms
  • You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
  • This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
  • Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
  • Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
  • Payment is issued as soon as your work is approved.
  • We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
