Getting paid for your expertise should be simple, no matter where you are. We've expanded our payout system to support over 90 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.

How it works

Once your submission is approved, your earnings appear in your available balance. When you're ready to cash out, head to your Earnings page and hit Cash Out. You'll receive an email with a redemption link to choose your preferred payment method.

Not every task can be completed in a single session. Terac now supports multi-task opportunities that chain sequential tasks together.

How it works

Some opportunities include multiple tasks - for example, an initial survey followed by a deeper interview a few days later, or a product evaluation with a follow-up check-in. Each task has its own instructions and completion criteria.

Tasks unlock in order. You can't start the next task until the previous one is reviewed and approved. Some tasks have a delay between them - you'll be notified when the next task is available.

Submission tracking

Each task generates its own submission. You can track the status of every task from your Submissions page. Payouts are calculated per task, so you earn as you go.

For researchers

Multi-task opportunities are available through the Terac dashboard. Define your task sequence with configurable delays in minutes, hours, or days. The system handles expert notifications, task gating, and payout logic automatically.

Know someone who'd be great for an opportunity you just completed? Now you can refer them and earn commission when they finish the task.

How it works

After completing a task, you'll see a referral link for that opportunity. Share it with colleagues, friends, or anyone who might qualify. When someone signs up through your link and completes the opportunity, you earn a commission on top of your regular payout.

You'll also receive a post-completion email with your referral link ready to share.

Head to your Referrals page to see:

• Who you've referred and their status
• Commission earned per referral
• Total referral earnings

Why it matters

The best experts know other great experts. If you just completed a machine learning evaluation, you probably know other ML engineers who'd be a great fit. Referrals help us find qualified people faster, and you get rewarded for it.

What the new flow looks like

1. Basic information - Name, phone number, and language
2. Phone verification - Quick SMS verification
3. Connect profiles - Link your LinkedIn, and any other professional profiles
4. Identity verification - Upload a government ID through Stripe Identity
5. Done - You're verified and can start earning

Onboarding interview

Once you're verified, you'll have a short conversation with our AI interviewer about your professional background and areas of expertise. This helps us match you to the right opportunities from day one. You won't be eligible for paid opportunities until this is complete.

Finish your profile

A progress tracker on your dashboard shows what's left to complete - your onboarding interview, resume, availability, and referral setup. Experts with complete profiles earn significantly more because we can match them to a wider range of opportunities.

All new experts go through the updated onboarding. Existing experts can update their profiles anytime from Settings.
