How we work
You'll join a small team that owns a lot: engineers who ship across the whole product, operators who run a live marketplace, and people who have built and sold things before.
We organise around problems, not job titles. People move across boundaries, bring a point of view beyond their own craft, and take responsibility for what matters most that week.
We ship daily and use agents heavily, so each person gets far more done than a team this size should. The pace is high and the direction can change fast.
We work together in person in San Francisco, Monday through Friday during reasonable hours, and remotely on weekends.

FAQs
Do I need a research or AI background to join?
No. Some of us have one, but it is not something we screen for. What matters is that you take ownership, make decisions and act without waiting to be asked.
Is it too late to join?
We started Terac in 2025 and there are 16 of us. The decisions that will matter most in five years have not been made yet.
Can I work remotely?
We work in person in San Francisco, Monday through Friday, during reasonable hours, and remotely on weekends. Campus ambassador roles are virtual.
Do you publish salaries?
Not yet. Every full-time role comes with a meaningful salary and early-stage equity, and we talk numbers in the first conversation.
What if I'm not looking right now?
Join the network anyway. You'll get paid for your expertise on projects that fit it, and we'll know you when we open the right role.
