Setup
A few minutes to your first recording
From download to recording, here is the whole path.

Open the .dmg
Double-click the downloaded Terac .dmg, then drag the Terac icon into your Applications folder.

Launch Terac
Open Terac from your Applications folder.

Log in
Sign in with the same account you use on terac.com so recordings link to your profile and payouts.

Grant permissions
Terac guides you through Screen Recording, Accessibility and Microphone in System Settings. Quit and reopen after enabling Screen Recording.

Record
Pick your assigned task, record yourself doing it, then press Stop. The session uploads automatically.
Permissions & privacy
What Terac asks for, and why
Terac only records while a session is active. It is never always-on, and you submit every recording yourself.
Screen Recording
Captures the video of your screen as you work. This is the core of every recording.
Accessibility
Reads on-screen elements and cursor movement so each recording is richly labeled.
Microphone
Only needed when a task asks you to think aloud while you work.
