Bilingual Readers (Spanish): Translation Review of an English Book

We are running a paid study on translation quality in published literature. Our goal is to ensure that a newly translated English book reads naturally and accurately in Spanish. This work helps improve automated translation systems by identifying nuanced errors in literary context.

You will read selected excerpts from the original English text alongside their Spanish translations. During the session, you will review specific passages that our system has flagged as potentially problematic. You will then provide feedback on the accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance of the translation. Finally, you will suggest corrections for any errors or awkward phrasing you encounter.

We welcome native or highly fluent Spanish speakers who also have strong English reading comprehension. This study is ideal for bilingual avid readers, freelance translators, and language enthusiasts. You should be comfortable critically analyzing literary text and explaining your linguistic choices.

• Highly fluent or native in Spanish with excellent reading comprehension in English

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
