Website Testers: Quality Assurance and Usability Review

We're running a paid study on website performance and user experience across different devices. We want to ensure our web properties are fully responsive, accessible, and free of functional defects. This testing phase helps us catch edge-case bugs and visual inconsistencies before they impact a broader audience.

You will test a specific website on your usual everyday device, exploring various pages and features. During the session, you will systematically check for functional, visual, content, responsive, or accessibility issues. If you find a bug, you will document it so it can be reproduced. Honest reports of finding no issues are also perfectly acceptable as long as you complete the provided review checklist.

We are looking for detail-oriented web users and QA testers who are comfortable documenting software bugs. We welcome professional quality assurance specialists, web developers, and everyday users who have a sharp eye for visual or functional inconsistencies. You should be familiar with navigating websites on standard desktop or mobile devices.

• Navigate through the target website on your standard personal device
• Test specific pages for functional, visual, content, and responsive issues
• Document any bugs you discover with clear steps to reproduce them
• Complete a testing checklist to confirm all required areas were reviewed

• Comfortable browsing and interacting with modern web applications
• Strong attention to detail for spotting visual or functional inconsistencies
• Ability to clearly write out steps to reproduce a technical issue
• Access to a standard desktop, laptop, or mobile device for testing

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
