Startup Founders: Interview on Early-Stage Finance Options

We are running a paid study on early-stage startup financing and how founders secure initial capital. Our goal is to evaluate different funding avenues, including co-founder equity, angel investments, and small business grants. This research will help build better frameworks for founders looking to fund their first critical technical hires.

You will participate in a remote, AI-moderated voice interview regarding your experience with startup financing. During the session, you will review various funding scenarios and share your perspective on their viability for early-stage growth. We will ask you to compare bootstrapping, taking on debt, and giving up equity. Finally, you will provide concrete recommendations on how to structure compensation for initial engineering hires.

We are seeking seasoned startup founders, finance advisors, and early-stage investors who understand the mechanics of seed funding. We welcome serial entrepreneurs, startup coaches, venture partners, and fractional CFOs who specialize in early-stage growth. You should have direct experience navigating loans, grants, or equity distribution for new businesses.
