Recent LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We are running a paid study on the outcomes of LASIK eye surgery from a patient perspective. Understanding firsthand recovery timelines helps us build better resources for prospective patients. We are focusing on real-world satisfaction and the realities of the healing process.

You will participate in a brief remote written interview covering your personal LASIK journey. We will ask you to detail your initial consultation, the day of the procedure, and your post-operative recovery timeline. You will type out your responses to a series of structured prompts at your own pace. The task is entirely asynchronous and can be completed from your computer or mobile device.

We are looking for adults who have previously undergone LASIK eye surgery to correct their vision. Ideal participants are comfortable reflecting on their medical decisions and can clearly articulate their post-surgery experiences. We welcome patients who had standard LASIK, PRK, or SMILE procedures.

• Complete a remote written interview detailing your LASIK experience.
• Describe your recovery timeline and any side effects you encountered.
• Evaluate your overall satisfaction with your visual outcomes.
• Provide honest feedback on the information you received before the procedure.

• Previously underwent LASIK or a similar laser vision correction procedure.
• Able to recall details about your recovery and healing process.
• Comfortable completing a written questionnaire independently.
• Willing to share honest feedback about your personal medical experience.

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
