Patient Advocates: Specialist Selection Methodology and Workflow

We're hiring patient advocates to document how they identify and evaluate medical specialists for complex care needs. This research aims to standardize best practices for specialist selection and patient navigation. Your expertise will directly inform new frameworks for evaluating provider quality and matching patients to the right care.

You will begin by writing a specialist selection methodology guide of approximately 4,000 words. After submitting the written guide, you will record a 30-45 minute narrated screen-share video. During this recording, you will demonstrate a live specialist selection workflow, walking us through the tools and criteria you use to evaluate providers. This is a remote asynchronous task that you can complete on your own computer.

We welcome independent patient advocates, healthcare navigators, care coordinators, and clinical case managers. You should have hands-on experience researching medical specialists and guiding patients through complex healthcare decisions. Familiarity with provider quality metrics and referral networks is strongly preferred.
