Browse open opportunitiesSign up to TeracWe're running a paid study on how everyday shoppers assess the value of secondhand furniture online. Your input feeds directly into benchmarking fair resale pricing for various household items. We want to understand what visual cues and listing details matter most when determining if an asking price is reasonable.
You will complete a short asynchronous survey that takes roughly three minutes. First, you will view a single photograph of a furniture item currently listed for sale. Then, you will answer five questions about its estimated pricing across platforms like Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or Craigslist. Finally, you will point out any missing information in the listing and rate the overall photo quality.
We welcome anyone who frequently browses, buys, or sells items on secondhand marketplaces. People with a good eye for furniture valuation or experience using platforms like Chairish and Craigslist are highly encouraged to apply. Active online shoppers and casual resellers alike will find this quick task straightforward and engaging.
