Browse open opportunitiesSign up to TeracWe are running a paid study on coffee history and culture to refine an educational activity used by small groups at New York cafes. Our goal is to ensure the historical claims are accurate and the source material is robust. This work directly improves the quality and engagement of the final discussion guide.
You will participate in a remote 60-minute session to review our current activity materials. During the task, you will identify and correct factual errors while suggesting stronger historical sources. We will also ask you to contribute a few surprising stories from coffee history. Finally, you will help write compelling discussion questions to spark conversation among participants.
We welcome coffee historians, specialty coffee professionals, and deeply knowledgeable enthusiasts. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of global coffee origins, historical trade routes, and cafe culture. Experience writing or fact-checking educational materials is highly preferred.
