LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on the patient experience during and after LASIK eye surgery. Our goal is to map the realities of the recovery process and understand how visual outcomes align with pre-surgery expectations. This feedback helps build a clearer picture of the standard patient journey and post-operative quality of life.

You will participate in an asynchronous written interview detailing your personal LASIK journey. We will ask you to describe the initial recovery phase, noting any discomfort, side effects, or milestone improvements. You will also evaluate your current vision quality compared to your expectations prior to the procedure. The format allows you to complete the responses at your own pace from your personal device.

We are looking for individuals who have personally undergone LASIK vision correction surgery. Whether your procedure was recent or several years ago, your firsthand perspective on the recovery process is highly valuable. We welcome patients who had standard LASIK, PRK, or similar laser-assisted refractive surgeries.

• Complete a written questionnaire regarding your LASIK procedure
• Detail your day-to-day or week-to-week recovery experience
• Describe any side effects or discomfort you encountered during healing
• Evaluate your overall satisfaction with your final visual outcomes

• Must have personally undergone LASIK or a similar laser vision correction procedure
• Able to recall and articulate the details of your surgical recovery
• Comfortable providing written responses about your personal medical journey
• Access to a reliable computer or smartphone to complete the asynchronous interview

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
