You will join a remote video call to discuss your day-to-day testing methodologies. We will ask you to review a set of hypothetical system architectures and point out potential security gaps. You will also walk us through your typical process for documenting and reporting software defects. Finally, you will provide feedback on a mock QA reporting dashboard to help us gauge its usability.
We are looking for quality assurance engineers and security testers who actively evaluate software platforms. We welcome QA automation engineers, penetration testers, application security specialists, and internal compliance auditors. You should have hands-on experience running diagnostic tests and identifying system vulnerabilities in a professional setting.
- Detail your approach to identifying software vulnerabilities
- Review hypothetical system architectures for security gaps
- Walk us through your workflow for documenting and escalating defects
- Provide usability feedback on proposed QA reporting tools
- Active professional experience in quality assurance or security testing
- Familiarity with common penetration testing and diagnostic tools
- Comfortable discussing technical architectures and threat models
- Ability to clearly articulate testing methodologies on a video call
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
