Accounts Payable Specialists: Interview on Invoice Processing Workflows

We're running a paid study on how financial professionals handle edge cases in vendor billing and tax documentation. Getting invoice approvals right is critical for maintaining compliance and preventing payment fraud. We want to understand the standard operating procedures you use when a supplier's file is incomplete.

You will participate in a remote video interview to review a specific vendor billing scenario. We will present a case where a supplier submits an invoice but lacks tax records on file. You will walk us through your process for deciding whether to pay, reject, or flag the invoice for further review. Throughout the session, you will explain the specific compliance checks and internal controls that guide your judgment.

We welcome Accounts Payable Specialists, Bookkeepers, Corporate Accountants, and Vendor Management professionals. You should have direct experience processing invoices and managing supplier tax documentation. Professionals who handle daily vendor onboarding and compliance checks will be an excellent fit for this study.

• Review a sample vendor invoice scenario with missing documentation
• Explain your step-by-step process for resolving tax record discrepancies
• Walk us through how you decide to pay, reject, or hold a problematic bill
• Discuss the internal compliance controls you rely on during vendor onboarding

• Professional experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or corporate accounting
• Hands-on experience processing vendor invoices and verifying tax records
• Familiarity with standard supplier compliance and onboarding procedures
• Comfortable explaining financial decision-making workflows on a video call

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
