Recent LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on patient recovery timelines and visual outcomes following LASIK procedures. Understanding the real-world recovery process helps us evaluate post-operative care standards and long-term patient satisfaction. Your personal journey provides critical context for our ongoing research into vision correction outcomes.

You will participate in a remote written interview focusing on your specific surgery experience. We will ask you to detail your timeline for healing, any side effects encountered, and your overall satisfaction with the results. You will type out your responses asynchronously, allowing you to reflect on your journey and provide thorough answers. The entire activity is conducted through our secure platform and can be completed at your convenience.

We are looking for adults who have personally undergone LASIK eye surgery to correct their vision. We welcome recent patients still in the recovery phase, as well as those who had the procedure several years ago. If you can clearly articulate your pre-surgery condition and post-surgery results, you are an ideal candidate for this study.

• Complete a written asynchronous interview about your vision correction journey.
• Detail your pre-operative vision issues and the deciding factors for surgery.
• Describe your recovery timeline, including any temporary or permanent side effects.
• Evaluate your current visual acuity and overall satisfaction with the procedure.

• Must have personally undergone LASIK vision correction surgery.
• Comfortable providing written responses about personal health experiences.
• Able to recall specific details about the immediate post-operative recovery period.
• Willing to share honest feedback regarding surgical outcomes and satisfaction.

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
