LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on the real-world recovery experiences of LASIK patients. Gathering direct patient feedback helps us understand the timeline of visual improvement and any common post-operative side effects. This research provides valuable insights into the standard of care and long-term satisfaction associated with vision correction surgery.

You will participate in a brief, asynchronous written interview focused on your surgical experience. We will ask you to document your recovery timeline, including how you managed early post-operative symptoms. You will also describe your current visual acuity and overall satisfaction with the procedure's outcome. The entire task can be completed on your own schedule from a personal computer or mobile device.

We are looking for individuals who have personally undergone LASIK vision correction surgery. You should have a clear recollection of your pre-operative baseline, the immediate recovery phase, and your long-term results. We welcome patients who had standard LASIK, Custom LASIK, or similar refractive procedures.

• Detail your timeline of visual recovery following your procedure
• Describe any side effects you experienced, such as dry eyes or glare
• Evaluate your overall satisfaction with the final surgical outcome
• Complete a series of written prompts using our remote platform

• Personal history of undergoing LASIK or a similar vision correction surgery
• Ability to clearly articulate medical experiences in a written format
• Comfortable sharing details about your pre-surgery vision and post-surgery results

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
