What We're Researching

We're running a paid study on book marketing strategies for debut YA fantasy novels launching on Amazon KDP. A solid launch plan requires realistic budgeting and precise sequencing, especially when working with limited funds. Help us evaluate an early draft of a four-week marketing roadmap to ensure its Amazon Ads setup and community outreach targets are highly viable.

How It Works

You will complete an independent, async text-based review of a proposed four-week launch plan, blurbs, and budget allocation. We will ask you to analyze the ad settings, including keywords, bids, and budget caps, to see if they align with a debut author's reality. From there, you will flag outreach targets that are unlikely to respond and suggest adjustments to prioritize launch week momentum. The entire task is conducted remotely and focuses on delivering a corrected ad setup alongside a prioritized action list.

Who This Is For

We are looking for indie book marketers with hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads and KDP launches. The ideal candidate has a strong background in YA or fantasy fiction marketing and understands how to stretch a tight budget. We welcome freelance book marketers, self-published authors who run their own ad campaigns, and publishing consultants, particularly those with familiarity in the German market.

  • Review a draft four-week marketing plan and a set of blurbs for a debut YA fantasy novel.

  • Provide a marked-up plan with a prioritized list of actions for launch week.
