Accounts Payable Specialists: Interview on Invoice Processing Workflows

We are running a paid study on how finance teams handle incomplete supplier documentation during the billing process. This research helps us understand the standard protocols for managing invoices when critical compliance data is missing. Our goal is to map out the typical decision trees used to approve, reject, or escalate problematic payments.

During this remote session, you will review a series of hypothetical invoice scenarios involving missing supplier tax records. You will walk us through how you would handle each situation in your daily workflow. We will ask you to explain your criteria for escalating an issue versus rejecting a bill outright. Finally, you will provide feedback on potential tools designed to streamline these compliance checks.

We are looking for finance professionals who actively manage or oversee accounts payable processes. We welcome Accounts Payable Specialists, Finance Managers, Corporate Accountants, and Bookkeepers. Candidates should have direct experience handling supplier onboarding and tax compliance verification.

• Review hypothetical supplier billing scenarios with missing documentation.
• Explain your process for deciding whether to pay, reject, or investigate an invoice.
• Walk us through your typical escalation workflow for compliance issues.
• Provide feedback on best practices for managing vendor tax records.

• Active role in accounts payable, accounting, or corporate finance.
• Hands-on experience processing supplier invoices and managing vendor records.
• Familiarity with tax compliance requirements for vendor payments.
• Comfortable articulating your decision-making process in a remote interview.

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
