Everyday Consumers: Quick Survey on Tech Rentals and Fees

We're running a paid study on consumer habits regarding short-term borrowing and equipment rentals. Understanding how people feel about convenience fees and security holds helps us design better rental experiences. You will complete a very brief, three-step activity on a hosted web page. First, you will indicate which types of cables you have actually needed to borrow in the past. Next, you will review a few opening text messages and select the one you would most likely reply to. Finally, you will share your opinion on whether a small convenience fee attached to a temporary security hold feels fair.

We are looking for everyday consumers who use mobile devices and occasionally need to borrow charging cables or similar tech. Anyone with a smartphone and a basic understanding of security holds or rental fees is welcome to participate.
