LASIK Patients: 15-Minute Voice Interview on Recovery

We're running a paid study on the long-term recovery experiences of patients following LASIK surgery. We want to understand the realities of post-operative side effects and how they impact routine activities. This research captures real patient stories to provide a clearer picture of the recovery journey.

You will participate in a 15-minute, AI-moderated voice interview directly from your computer or smartphone. During the session, you will be prompted to walk through your personal LASIK timeline and recovery journey. The conversation will focus specifically on visual clarity in low-light conditions and how you manage those changes. You will answer questions conversationally without needing to share your screen or activate your camera.

We welcome general consumers who have personally undergone LASIK surgery. You should have enough distance from your procedure to discuss long-term outcomes and any lingering visual changes. Individuals who rely heavily on driving for their daily work are especially encouraged to participate.

• Complete a 15-minute voice interview detailing your post-surgery experience.
• Share your personal recovery timeline and outline any side effects you encountered.
• Discuss how visual changes like halos or glare affect your nighttime routines.
• Provide concrete personal examples rather than generic medical advice.

• Must have personally undergone LASIK surgery.
• Comfortable discussing your medical recovery journey in an audio-only format.
• Able to clearly articulate how your vision affects tasks like driving.
• Willing to speak comprehensively about your side effects for at least five minutes.

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
