LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on the patient experience following LASIK vision correction. Documenting firsthand recovery stories helps us understand the true timeline of healing and visual stabilization. This feedback provides valuable context on how individuals adapt during the weeks and months after their procedure.

You will participate in an asynchronous written interview detailing your postoperative experience. We will ask you to walk through your initial recovery phase, noting any side effects or discomfort you encountered. You will then describe your current vision quality and overall satisfaction with the surgical outcome. The entire process is completed remotely at your own pace.

We welcome adults who have personally undergone LASIK eye surgery. We are interested in hearing from recent patients as well as those who had the procedure years ago. Whether your recovery was exceptionally smooth or involved unexpected complications, your firsthand perspective is highly relevant to this study.

• Describe any side effects, dry eye symptoms, or visual halos you experienced.
• Evaluate your overall satisfaction with the final results of the procedure.
• Provide written responses to guided questions about your postoperative care routine.

• Must have personally undergone a LASIK vision correction procedure.
• Able to accurately recall details about your immediate recovery phase.
• Comfortable providing thoughtful written responses about your medical outcome.

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
