UX and Product Leaders: Customer Research Workflows

We're running a paid study on how customer research is conducted at smaller organizations. Understanding your tool usage, switching triggers, and spending habits helps shape future product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. We want to know what drives your team to adopt new platforms or stick with existing solutions.

During a remote video interview, you will walk us through a recent customer research project from start to finish. We will ask you to detail the tools you used, how you managed the budget, and what influenced your purchasing decisions. You will also review a few hypothetical messaging concepts and share your candid feedback. The conversation flows as a standard user interview with occasional screen sharing to demonstrate your workflow.

This study targets professionals who actively run or commission user research within their organizations. We welcome product managers, UX researchers, marketing leaders, and consumer insights specialists. Ideal candidates wear multiple hats and have direct involvement in their team's software budget or purchasing decisions.

• Walk us through your end-to-end process for running customer research

• Currently working in product, UX, marketing, or insights at a small organization
• Hands-on experience running or commissioning customer research projects
• Involvement in tool selection or budget decisions for your team
• Comfortable joining a remote video call to discuss your workflows

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
