Hair Color Users: Feedback on a Virtual Try-On Tool

We're running a paid study on how consumers interact with augmented reality beauty features. This work feeds directly into improving a virtual try-on tool for visualizing different hair colors before committing to a dye. Your feedback helps us understand where the current experience succeeds and where it needs refinement.

During this remote session, you will access a prototype of the virtual try-on interface using your own device. We will ask you to navigate through various color options and test the live camera features. As you explore the tool, you will share your screen and narrate your thought process. Finally, we will ask a few wrap-up questions about your overall impressions and how likely you are to use this technology.

We are looking for consumers who have experience coloring their own hair or getting it done professionally. You should be comfortable navigating new mobile or web applications and willing to share your video feed during the test. We welcome frequent hair dyers, occasional color experimenters, and anyone interested in digital beauty tools.

• Test a virtual try-on prototype for hair color on your personal device.
• Share your screen while navigating the interface to demonstrate your workflow.

• Answer follow-up questions about your typical beauty shopping habits.

• Experience coloring your hair at home or in a salon
• Access to a device with a working camera and microphone
