General Readers: Evaluate Data Privacy Redaction

We're running a paid study on the effectiveness of an automated data redaction system. We built a tool that strips personal information out of software session logs and replaces it with secure placeholders. We need to know if this system actually works when reviewed by a human eye.

You will read 15 short text excerpts spread across a few brief tasks. For each excerpt, you will answer three quick text-based questions about whether any personal details are still visible. If you spot anything, you will copy the exact words that leaked and rate the overall readability of the passage. The entire session takes about 15 minutes and is completed asynchronously.

We welcome ordinary readers with no specific technical background. This study does not require any engineering or data privacy expertise, as we want to see if a normal person can spot leaked information. Anyone comfortable reading text and answering straightforward questions is encouraged to apply.
