LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on the patient experience during and after LASIK eye surgery. Understanding firsthand recovery timelines and visual outcomes helps us map the real-world impact of this procedure. Your insights will feed into a broader analysis of patient satisfaction and postoperative care.

You will participate in a brief, asynchronous written interview from your computer or mobile device. During this task, you will answer specific questions detailing your initial decision to get LASIK and your day-to-day recovery process. We will ask you to describe any side effects, changes in your vision, and your overall satisfaction with the results. The entire conversation flows at your own pace, allowing you to thoughtfully document your journey.

We welcome individuals who have previously undergone LASIK eye surgery and can accurately recall their recovery phase. Ideal participants are comfortable writing detailed responses about their medical history and visual outcomes. We welcome recent patients, long-term post-operative patients, and those who underwent similar laser vision correction procedures like PRK or SMILE.

• Describe your postoperative recovery timeline and any side effects you experienced
• Detail your overall satisfaction and long-term visual outcomes following the procedure

• Have personally undergone LASIK or a similar laser vision correction surgery
• Able to clearly articulate your medical experience and recovery timeline in writing
• Comfortable discussing personal health decisions and outcomes in an asynchronous format

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
