LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on patient experiences following LASIK eye surgery. Understanding the real-world recovery timeline and long-term visual outcomes is critical for improving patient care models. Your feedback will help evaluate how expectations align with actual post-operative realities.

You will participate in a brief, remote written interview focused on your surgical experience. We will ask you to detail your initial recovery phase, any side effects encountered, and your current visual acuity. You will type out your responses to specific prompts regarding the timeline of your healing process. The entire session is asynchronous, allowing you to complete the written questions at your own pace.

We are looking for adults who have previously undergone LASIK vision correction surgery. We welcome patients who had standard LASIK, custom LASIK, or similar refractive procedures. You should be comfortable reflecting on your surgical decision and detailing your medical recovery process clearly.

• Describe your immediate post-operative recovery timeline
• Detail any side effects or complications you experienced during healing
• Reflect on your long-term visual outcomes and overall satisfaction

• Must have previously undergone LASIK or a similar refractive eye surgery
• Comfortable providing detailed written responses about your medical recovery
• Able to recall specific details regarding your healing process and visual changes

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
