LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on the patient experience following LASIK vision correction surgery. Hearing directly from patients helps us understand common recovery timelines, postoperative care challenges, and overall satisfaction with the results. This feedback highlights real-world outcomes and shapes our understanding of the typical healing journey.

You will participate in a brief, remote written interview focused on your personal LASIK experience. You will be asked to describe your initial recovery period, any side effects you encountered, and your long-term visual results. We will provide a structured set of questions for you to answer asynchronously at your own pace. Your responses will help us map out the typical patient journey from surgery day to full recovery.

We welcome adults who have personally undergone LASIK surgery to correct their vision. We are looking for individuals who can clearly articulate their pre-surgery expectations and their actual postoperative experiences. Whether your procedure was recent or several years ago, your perspective is valuable to our research.

• Describe your recovery timeline, including any immediate side effects or discomfort
• Detail the steps you took for postoperative care and follow-up visits
• Reflect on your final visual outcomes and overall satisfaction with the procedure

• Must have personally undergone LASIK vision correction surgery
• Comfortable providing detailed written responses about a personal medical procedure
• Able to recall specific details about your initial recovery days and long-term results

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
