Public-Facing Professionals: Survey on Information Access
Login & Apply

You'll start with a short screening interview

What We're Researching

We are running a paid study on how public-facing experts gather information and stay informed on emerging issues. This research helps us understand the shifting landscape of knowledge distribution and trusted sourcing. Your insights will inform how we evaluate professional information-gathering habits across various fields.

How It Works

You will complete a short remote survey detailing your professional experience and information workflows. The survey asks you to walk through the sources you trust, how you verify facts, and the ways you share knowledge with your audience. You will react to different scenarios regarding emerging issues and explain your typical engagement strategies. The entire process is asynchronous and designed to be completed quickly on your own schedule.

Who This Is For

We are looking for influential professionals who actively shape public understanding or community discourse. We welcome educators, media professionals, nonprofit leaders, cultural institution directors, researchers, and community organizers. Ideal candidates regularly consume, synthesize, and distribute information to broader audiences in their daily work.

What You'll Do
  • Complete an asynchronous remote survey about your professional workflows
  • Detail how you access, verify, and engage with emerging issues
  • Describe the information sources you rely on most heavily in your field
  • Explain how you share synthesized knowledge with your community or audience
Who Should Apply
  • Current role in education, media, nonprofit, research, or community leadership
  • Experience synthesizing and distributing information to a broader audience
  • Comfortable discussing your professional strategies for staying informed
  • Ability to complete a detailed, asynchronous written survey
Contract & Payment Terms
  • You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
  • This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
  • Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
  • Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
  • Payment is issued as soon as your work is approved.
  • We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
