Soccer Enthusiasts: Write Audio Descriptions for Match Moments

We're running a paid study to improve accessibility in sports media for blind and low-vision fans. Our goal is to capture the excitement and spatial reality of live matches through high-quality audio description. This work directly supports making the game more inclusive and engaging for visually impaired audiences.

You will participate in a remote session focused on writing clear and enthusiastic commentary. During the activity, you will watch a series of 10-second clips of soccer match footage. For each clip, you will draft factual, spatial audio descriptions that convey exactly what is happening on the pitch. You will submit your written commentary through our online platform.

We welcome passionate soccer fans, sports writers, audio describers, and amateur commentators. You should have a deep understanding of soccer terminology and the ability to describe fast-paced action clearly. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented writers who can translate visual excitement into engaging text.

• Strong understanding of soccer rules and terminology
• Ability to write concise and engaging descriptions of fast-paced action

• Experience in sports writing, commentary, or accessibility services is a plus

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
