Video Editors: Paid Interview on Creative Workflows

We're running a paid study on the day-to-day workflows of video editing professionals. We want to understand the creative processes that drive project completion and how current software tools either help or hinder those efforts. Your insights will directly inform the development of next-generation editing features.

You will participate in a remote, AI-moderated interview to discuss your recent editing projects. During the session, you will walk us through your current software setup and explain how you tackle different stages of the creative process. We will ask you to react to a few hypothetical workflow scenarios and describe your preferred workarounds for common technical issues. You will not need to screen-share or edit any actual footage during this conversation.

We welcome professional video editors, motion graphics artists, and post-production specialists. You should have hands-on experience managing end-to-end creative processes using standard industry software. Candidates who regularly work on commercial, freelance, or long-form content are strongly encouraged to apply.
