Short-Form Video Creators: Usability Testing and Clip Creation

We're running a paid study on a new browser-based screen recording tool designed for product, QA, and engineering teams. Help us evaluate the core user experience by testing the web recorder and providing candid feedback on its usability. Your honest insights will directly influence how we refine the interface and explain the product to new users.

You will start by using the web-based recording tool for about 15 minutes to complete at least one full screen recording. Afterward, you will produce an original 30 to 60-second video clip in your usual style that shows the product in action. In your clip, you will explain what the tool does, who it is for, and share your genuine thoughts on what worked well or felt confusing. Finally, you will upload your finished video for our team to review, with no requirement to post it publicly.

We are looking for content creators who actively make and edit short-form videos. We welcome video producers, tech reviewers, social media creators, and freelance videographers who are comfortable recording their own voice and footage. You must be able to deliver high-quality, authentic video feedback without relying on stock templates or AI voice clones.

• Show the product on screen while explaining its features and target audience
• Upload your final video file for internal review

• Experience producing and editing short-form video content
• Comfortable speaking on camera or providing high-quality voiceover
• Ability to record original footage without using stock templates or AI voice clones
• Access to a standard desktop web browser

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
