Skincare Shoppers: Interview on Generative AI Tools

We're running a paid study on the intersection of online skincare shopping and emerging AI technology. We want to understand how buyers discover new products, evaluate ingredients, and make purchasing decisions when assisted by Generative AI tools. This research directly informs how digital storefronts design their future discovery and recommendation experiences.

You will join a remote video call to discuss your typical skincare shopping habits. During the session, you will share your screen to walk us through how you currently search for products and read reviews online. We will then introduce a few Generative AI concepts and ask you to interact with them as if you were looking for a new routine. Finally, you will provide candid feedback on what feels helpful or confusing about these AI-assisted shopping flows.

This opportunity is for active consumers who frequently purchase skincare, beauty, or personal care items online. We welcome beauty enthusiasts, everyday shoppers, and anyone who uses digital tools to research ingredients or build routines. General familiarity with basic Generative AI applications is helpful but not strictly required to participate.

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.

• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
