LASIK Patients: Written Interview on Recovery and Outcomes

We're running a paid study on patient experiences following LASIK vision correction. Getting direct feedback on the healing process helps us understand the true day-to-day realities of post-operative care. Your perspective will provide valuable context on how patient expectations align with actual visual outcomes.

You will participate in a brief, remote written interview focused on your surgery experience. We will ask you to detail your recovery timeline, including any temporary side effects like dry eyes or glare. You will also describe your overall satisfaction with the final visual results compared to your initial expectations. The entire session is conducted asynchronously via text, allowing you to provide thoughtful answers at your own pace.

We are looking for adults who have previously undergone LASIK eye surgery to correct their vision. We welcome participants who had the procedure recently, as well as those who are several years post-operation. Individuals who opted for similar refractive procedures (such as PRK or SMILE) are also encouraged to apply.

• Detail your personal recovery timeline and any side effects experienced after surgery.
• Answer written questions about your pre-operative expectations versus actual results.
• Describe the day-to-day impact the procedure has had on your lifestyle and vision.
• Provide candid feedback on the post-operative care instructions you received.

• Have personally undergone LASIK or a similar laser vision correction procedure
• Comfortable providing written responses about your medical recovery experience
• Able to articulate your level of satisfaction with the final visual outcomes

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are processed weekly based on services rendered.
