Software Engineers and Developers: Zero-Person Company Experiment

We're hiring hands-on builders to participate in a paid one-month experiment centered on building a zero-person company. This project tests the operational limits of solo-driven task execution using modern development tools. The work directly informs new frameworks for heavily automated business models.

You will work remotely to complete a series of predefined technical tasks over the course of one month. Throughout the experiment, you will build practical software projects and document your workflow step by step. We will ask you to share your screen asynchronously and provide feedback on any friction points you encounter. You will also coordinate with us via text and voice calls to align on technical requirements before starting.

This opportunity is geared toward hands-on builders who can tackle complex technical challenges independently. We welcome software engineers, independent developers, and technical college students with a portfolio of practical projects. A strong foundation in building functional software is required to succeed in this task-based environment.

• Execute technical tasks related to building functional software projects
• Document your workflow and development process as you complete assignments
• Provide feedback on the challenges of operating in a highly automated environment
• Communicate asynchronously to align on project milestones and deliverables

• Hands-on experience building practical software projects or applications
• Current software engineer, independent developer, or technical college student
• Comfortable working independently on structured technical milestones
• Strong English communication skills for asynchronous coordination

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
