Bilingual Spanish Readers: Book Translation Review

We're hiring bilingual Spanish and English readers to evaluate a translated manuscript. Our translation system flagged several passages as questionable, and human review is required to ensure high quality. Your feedback directly improves the accuracy and readability of the final published text.

You will receive two PDF documents containing the English original and the Spanish translation. Throughout both files, specific lines are highlighted in yellow to indicate areas needing review. Your task is to compare these highlighted sections and provide feedback on their accuracy, tone, and grammar. You will record your corrections and suggestions in a provided document.

We welcome fluent bilingual speakers of English and Spanish who have a strong grasp of written grammar in both languages. Native Spanish speakers, professional translators, language teachers, and avid bilingual readers are all encouraged to apply. Experience with literary translation or proofreading is helpful but not strictly required.

• Compare highlighted passages in the English original and Spanish translation.
• Identify grammatical errors, unnatural phrasing, or mistranslations in the Spanish text.
• Suggest corrections or alternative translations for flagged sections.
• Submit written feedback detailing your review of the highlighted lines.

• Fluent reading comprehension in both English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of Spanish grammar, syntax, and natural phrasing.
• Comfortable reading and comparing dual PDF documents.

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.
