Platform Overview
A guided tour of the Terac researcher dashboard, including navigation, key pages, and workflows.
This page walks you through the main areas of the Terac platform so you can find what you need quickly.

The left sidebar is your primary navigation. The top group is your organization workspace; below it, you drill into a project.

Opportunity Workflow
The typical research workflow on Terac follows this path:
Key Tabs Within an Opportunity
The Submissions tab is your command center: it opens by default and shows the whole participant funnel by stage, with review actions inline.
| Tab | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Submissions | Every submission by funnel stage, with status tracking and review actions |
| Task | Configure what participants need to complete |
| Recruitment | Hard filters, candidate profile, and screeners |
| Settings | Opportunity name, pricing, and advanced configuration |
While an opportunity is still a draft it opens in the full-screen builder instead of these tabs. The tabs appear once it is launched.
Research Guides
Research guides let you define structured discussion scripts that the AI moderator follows during screening or task interviews. Each guide includes:
- Discussion guide - the questions and flow the AI follows
- Screening policy - rules for auto-qualifying or disqualifying participants
- Stimulus materials - images, videos, or files shown to participants during interviews
- Insights - AI-generated analysis and themes extracted from completed interviews
Finding the Right Experts
You do not browse the panel directly. You describe who you need through filters, a candidate profile, and screeners, and Terac matches and delivers experts against that definition. To sanity-check the size of an audience before you build a study, use the Feasibility page.
