How to cash out your earnings via Virtual Incentives.
After your submissions are approved, your earnings are added to your Terac balance. Here's how to withdraw your money.

Visit terac.com/me/earnings to see:
- Available balance money ready to withdraw
- Pending earnings from submissions awaiting review
- Transaction history past payouts and earnings
How Payouts Work
Terac uses Virtual Incentives as our payment provider. When you cash out, you receive an email with options to redeem your earnings.
Step 1: Submission Approved
When your submission is approved by a researcher, your earnings are added to your available balance.
Step 2: Cash Out
Once your balance meets the minimum threshold:
- Go to your Earnings dashboard
- Click Cash Out
- Confirm the amount you want to withdraw
Step 3: Receive Email
Within 24-48 hours, you'll receive an email from Virtual Incentives with redemption instructions.
Check your spam folder if you don't see the email. It comes from Virtual Incentives, not Terac.
Step 4: Choose Your Reward
Click the link in the email to choose how you want to receive your money:
- Gift cards Amazon, Walmart, Target, and many more
- Prepaid Visa use anywhere Visa is accepted
- Other options vary by country
Step 5: Redeem
Follow the instructions to claim your reward. Gift card codes are delivered instantly. Prepaid cards may take a few days to arrive.

Virtual Incentives supports experts worldwide. Available reward types vary by country:
- United States Gift cards, prepaid Visa, PayPal
- International Gift cards for local retailers, prepaid cards
The specific options available to you will be shown in your redemption email.
Minimum Withdrawal
There's a minimum balance required to cash out. This threshold is shown on your Earnings dashboard. Earnings from multiple submissions accumulate toward this minimum.

FAQ
I clicked Cash Out but didn't receive an email
- Wait 48 hours from when you clicked Cash Out
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Search for emails from "Virtual Incentives" or "virtualincentives"
- If still nothing, contact support
Can I get a direct bank transfer?
Currently, payouts are processed through Virtual Incentives which offers gift cards and prepaid cards. Direct bank transfers are not available at this time.
Can I change my reward preference?
Yes, you can choose a different reward type each time you receive a redemption email. Your preference is not locked in.
What if my payout fails?
If there's an issue processing your payout, you'll see an error message in your Earnings dashboard. Common issues include:
- Invalid email address
- Country not supported for selected reward type
Update your information and try again, or contact support.
Are my earnings taxable?
Earnings from Terac may be taxable depending on your country and total income. You're responsible for reporting income according to your local tax laws. In the US, you may receive a 1099 form if your earnings exceed certain thresholds.
