How Terac payments work, including timing, methods, and requirements.
This policy explains how you get paid for completing opportunities on Terac.
Payment Provider
Terac uses Virtual Incentives as our payment provider. All payouts are processed through their platform.
How Payments Work
Step 1: Earn
Complete opportunities and get your submissions approved. Approved earnings are added to your Terac balance.
Step 2: Cash Out
When your balance meets the minimum threshold, click "Cash Out" in your Earnings dashboard.
Step 3: Receive Email
Within 24-48 hours, you'll receive an email from Virtual Incentives with redemption instructions.
Step 4: Redeem
Click the link in the email and choose your preferred reward:
- Gift cards (Amazon, Walmart, Target, and more)
- Prepaid Visa card
- Other options depending on your country

Minimum Withdrawal
You must have a minimum balance before you can cash out. The current minimum is displayed on your Earnings dashboard. Earnings from multiple submissions accumulate toward this minimum.

Email Delivery
What to Expect
The redemption email comes from Virtual Incentives, not Terac. It will contain:
- Your available balance
- A secure link to redeem
- Instructions for claiming your reward
Didn't Receive the Email?
- Wait at least 48 hours from when you clicked Cash Out
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Search for "Virtual Incentives" in your email
- Verify your email address is correct in your Terac profile
- Contact support if still not received
Failed Payouts
Payouts may fail if:
- Your email address is invalid
- There's a technical issue with Virtual Incentives
- Your account is flagged for review
If a payout fails:
- Check your Earnings dashboard for error messages
- Verify your account information
- Try again or contact support
Tax Considerations
Your Responsibility
Earnings from Terac may be taxable income. You're responsible for:
- Tracking your earnings
- Reporting income to tax authorities
- Paying applicable taxes
US Tax Reporting
If you're in the US and earn above IRS thresholds, you may receive a 1099 form. Ensure your tax information is current in your profile.
International
Tax requirements vary by country. Consult a local tax professional for guidance.
Currency
Earnings are tracked in USD. When you redeem, conversion may apply depending on your chosen reward and country.
Refunds and Disputes
Can I Cancel a Cash Out?
Once you click Cash Out, the request is processed and generally cannot be cancelled. Contact support immediately if you made an error.
What If I Choose the Wrong Reward?
Once you select a reward in Virtual Incentives, the selection is final. Choose carefully.
Disputed Amounts
If you believe your earnings are incorrect, contact support with details of the submission in question.
Account Status
You must maintain an account in good standing to receive payouts:
- No terms of service violations
- No fraudulent activity
- Active account (not suspended or terminated)
Policy Changes
Terac may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
